Beliefs and experiences that that inform my coaching approach:
I have zero ability to force myself to do anything. You can’t tell me what to do and neither can I.
My brain broke in 2018. Think: complete nervous system dysregulation, inability to work, wild emotional swings. I didn’t know what was wrong with me and couldn’t figure out how to fix it. None of the tools that had worked up to that point worked anymore. I had to discover an entirely new set of concepts and tools to rebuild my brain and life.
Desires are holy. They are given to you from something larger and you wouldn’t have them if there wasn’t a way to fulfill them.
It is infinitely more practical to be nice to yourself. Beyond the yeah-yeah, I should love myself. Practically, it works better than not being nice. It also feels a lot better.
You get what you focus on. Not what you want, deserve, or earn.
I am obsessed with how to live life on my own terms. I want to always be in charge of my life. I want to do/be/experience anything I want while I’m here.
Because I’ve had to get pretty creative with how to live and function. I developed an evolving system that works really, really well.
My clients and I love The Modern Anxiety Solution because
A. It works and
B. It’s interesting as hell.
It resolves anxiety, and with it, chronic symptoms of brain fog, erratic energy and emotions, and some chronic pain.
The same system that works to resolve anxiety also works to create whatever you want in your life.
Working with me is a two-fer. You get internal change that lasts so that you feel better faster.
You also get to live your life on your own terms while deepening your self compassion.
In fact, your anxiety is pointing you to areas where you aren’t living on your own terms or being nice to yourself.
If you want to feel better, you won’t have a choice but to stop people pleasing, conforming, and pushing through the body’s signals to stop or turn around.
